Make the most of your favourite fragrance by following our simple steps to set up and refill your diffuser

Designed to provide a continuous background fragrance for any interior space, our diffusers are made for long-term use, and can be refilled multiple times. With natural fragrance oils, contained in hand-blown coloured glass vessels, our natural reed diffusers will enhance any environment – from your home to the office – with a visual and sensory presence. USING YOUR DIFFUSER FOR THE FIRST TIME

1. Place your hand-blown diffuser vessel on a stable surface.

2. Open the bottle of natural fragrance oil and, using the supplied funnel, pour the contents into the diffuser vessel.

3. Place all the rattan reeds into the diffuser vessel.

4. Allow several hours for the reeds to absorb the natural fragrance oil.

5. Once the reeds have absorbed some oil, turn the reeds over in the vessel to release the aromas, being careful not to spill the oil when lifting the reeds out of the bottle.

6. Always wash your hands with soap and water after handling the reeds.

7. Wash the funnel in warm, soapy water and store in a safe place for future use should you purchase one of our diffuser refills.
   
   

DIFFUSER CARE AND SAFETY ADVICE

1. For maximum impact, we recommend placing your diffuser in a hallway or near the entrance to a room, out of reach of children and animals.

2. It’s best to keep your diffuser away from humidity and direct sunlight, as this will cause the oil to evaporate more quickly.

3. To stimulate diffusion, turn the rattan reeds over in the vessel regularly (we recommend every 1-2 weeks, or whenever the fragrance starts to fade), being careful not to spill the oil when removing the reeds.

4. Our diffuser fragrances are highly concentrated and can cause irritation to skin, so always wash your hands with soap and water after handling the reeds.

5. If you would like a more subtle background scent, simply remove some of the reeds to reduce the intensity of the fragrance.

6. Use a non-abrasive cloth to remove any dust that may have accumulated on the outside of your diffuser bottle.
   
   

HOW TO REFILL YOUR DIFFUSER

Once the oil in your diffuser has fully evaporated, you can refill the diffuser vessel with one of our refill packs. Or you may choose to upcycle the empty vessel (we think our hand-blown glass vessels make very attractive bud vases). To refill your diffuser, follow these steps:

1. Before refilling, discard the reeds then wash the empty vessel with warm, soapy water (don’t be tempted to put it in your dishwasher) and allow it to dry completely.

2. Place your diffuser vessel on a stable surface, open the refill liquid bottle and use the funnel – supplied with your original diffuser set – to pour the contents into the vessel.

3. Add fresh reeds and allow several hours for the reeds to absorb the natural fragrance oil.

4. Once the reeds have absorbed some oil, turn the reeds over in the vessel to release the aromas, being careful not to spill the oil when lifting the reeds out of the bottle.

5. Wash your hands with soap and water after handling the reeds.

Please note that our diffuser vessels are intended for use with Aja Botanicals refills only. If you wish to switch to one of our other fragrances, make sure the glass diffuser vessel has been washed thoroughly, with soapy water, before refilling with the new fragrance. Use the new rattan reeds that come with your refill pack each time you refill your diffuser.
